1. Services Provided
Knight Group provides the following services:
- Handyman Services: Our handyman services are available strictly within Pinellas County, Florida. We perform tasks that do not require a general contractor’s license, unless subcontracting under a licensed contractor when necessary. We comply with local regulations and focus on jobs that do not require permits unless obtained through appropriate channels.
- Programming & IT Solutions: We offer customized programming and database solutions tailored to meet client needs. Projects are completed based on the agreed scope, timeline, and budget. Knight Group reserves the right to adjust project delivery based on unforeseen constraints.
Knight Group reserves the right to refuse services under specific conditions, including but not limited to:
- Requests that violate local, state, or federal laws.
- Inadequate project scope, unrealistic deadlines, or insufficient budget.
2. Payment Terms
Knight Group accepts the following payment methods:
- Cash (For Handyman Services Only)
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Credit/Debit Cards (via Zettle card reader or business card scanner)
Payment Policies:
- Payment is due in full at the time of service completion unless otherwise agreed upon in writing for larger projects.
- Processing fees associated with payment platforms may be applied to the customer’s total bill.
- All payments must be received before project initiation for programming services.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Handyman Services: Once work has begun, cancellations may not be accepted. If issues arise, clients must notify us within 7 days of completion for resolution. Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction but efforts will be made to address concerns.
- Programming & IT Solutions: Refunds will not be issued for completed work. If a project cannot be completed due to external constraints, partial refunds may be considered for the portion of work not yet delivered.
4. Client Responsibilities
By using Knight Group’s services, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete project details and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to requested services.
- Respect the agreed-upon timelines and scope of work.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content created by Knight Group, including but not limited to software, code, and designs, remains the intellectual property of Knight Group unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients may not:
- Replicate or distribute any software or solutions without permission.
- Modify or sell Knight Group's intellectual property without explicit consent.
Legal action may be taken for unauthorized use of Knight Group's intellectual property.
6. Limitation of Liability
Knight Group shall not be held liable for any damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or profits related to programming and software solutions.
- Property damage related to handyman services where proper care and skill were applied.
- Delays or disruptions due to factors outside our control, such as material availability or client responsiveness.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knight Group from any claims resulting from the use of our services.
7. Termination of Services
Knight Group reserves the right to terminate or refuse services in cases of policy violations, non-payment, or behavior deemed inappropriate or unreasonable by the client.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be handled in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.
9. Changes to These Terms
Knight Group may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
